Copyright Strategy Under the Berne Convention
The Berne Convention supports automatic protection and national treatment for qualifying works. There is no single WIPO or Berne copyright filing that creates a global registration.

Automatic does not mean uniform
The existence and exercise of Berne rights are not conditioned on formalities, but ownership rules, term, exceptions, moral rights, registration systems, presumptions, statutory damages, procedures, and remedies can vary by country.
Build the ownership record
Identify every author and contributor. Keep employment terms, commission agreements, assignments, licences, source files, drafts, publication records, and third-party permissions. A creator credit or invoice does not necessarily establish the full chain of title.
Use targeted registrations and enforcement
Voluntary registration or deposit may provide evidentiary or procedural advantages in selected countries. Enforcement strategy may combine platform notices, preservation demands, negotiated licences, border measures, and local proceedings.
